Leonardo da Vinci - Story life - part 6

In the mid- to late- 1480s, when Leonardo was attempting to establish himself as a court artist, he seemed to have started on his huge range of scientific studies, dabbling in botany, anatomy, medicine, architecture, military engineering, geography and many, many other subjects.
We know about his studies from the enormous amount of drawings
and sketches that he left behind.
He worked on the Treatise on Painting, a collection of practical
and theoretical instructions for painters, throughout his entire adult life.

Leonardo da Vinci,

Leonardo DA VINCI (b. 1452, Vinci, Italy --d. May 2, 1519, Cloux, Fr.), Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer whose genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal.
His Last Supper (1495-97) and Mona Lisa (1503-06) are
among the most widely popular and influential paintings of the Renaissance.
His notebooks reveal a spirit of scientific
inquiry and a mechanical inventiveness that were centuries ahead of his time.
